An Odd Late Night Conversation
“Plus, though I love her, I’m not in love with her.”
“Can you tell the difference?”
“Yup.”
“How?”
“If I love someone, I care about them and I want them to be happy. If I’m in love with someone, it’s all that plus putting myself second. I’m not a naturally selfish person, but I wouldn’t say I’m selfless either. There’s a point where I know that they’re just not the right person.”
